Hi, yes there are lymph nodes situated in the area you mentioned. The feels will be soft to firm if infection is there. Hard if there is a malignancy / cancer, they are then usually not painful. If they are due to infection, they will take one to three weeks to settle with antibiotics and supportive treatment. Cancer nodes do not go away .
