Hi doctor i have pain on my side when i walk and it kinda hurts not alot tho
could be a ligament sprain at your ankle.
is my ankle broke
If you feel that your ankle has suffered a fracture, then best way to remove the doubt is to get an X ray done. Many a times it becomes difficult to distinguish between an ankle sprain and a fracture.
Swollen ankle due to sprain.
Thank you for your query, i hope my suggestion helps.
Apply ice cube to the part to reduce swelling and pain, Keep the limb elevated and aplly a moderately tight bandage to your ankle . Immobilize it and take complete rest until pain and swelling come down.
For pain take zerodol 100mg (2 times a day) or ibuprofen 200mg (twice daily) for 2-3 days until your pain subsides.
Hope this helps.
