Stabbing Pain Under Rib Cage, Metallic Taste In Mouth, Relief On Urination. Treatment?
Hello dr. My name is XXXXX and I was awoken with this horrible stabbing pain in my left side just beneath my ribcage at the very bottom. It was so terrible that I couldn t sit up .I also had a metal taste in.in my mouth. It was relieved only when my boyfriend. Made me go urinate. I have never experienced t his before can you shed any light on this problem

It seems that you might have some problem in the kidney giving rise to renal colic.
There is possibility of having stone in left kidney or some infection in kidney.
Go for urine check up.
Mean while take antispasmodic tablet as and when required.
Take plenty of water.
