Taking Lutera. Missed Taking Pills. Reddish Spotting After Intercourse. Pregnant?

Hi, I have been taking Lutera for 14 weeks now. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to take it at the exact same time (10pm) every day, some days I end up taking it 2-3 hours later. I've missed a pill maybe two other times. This week (two days ago) I missed a pill and it took it with the next pill the next day on time. The following day (yesterday), I had sex with my boyfriend (without a condom). Today I noticed bright red blood (not enough to be considered a period). Another important factor is I started amoxicillin 4 times a day two nights ago.

I was wondering if the blood would be an early sign of possible pregnancy or a cause of missing a pill for an entire day.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The chances of pregnancy have always been there with unprotected sex.
The chances of pregnancy are there in your case because you had unprotected sex and you missed your pills also.
You should consult a gynaecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy.
Good luck.
Take care.
