Hi ! i am Dr Shareef answering your query. Is there any itching ? if so, it could be any kind of allergy, which will be relieved with any anti allergic and anti inflammatory drug. I hope there is no history of trauma, which excludes possibility of a hematoma formation. If it persists, then I would suggest you to get it reviewed by an ophthalmologist in your area. Good luck.
I have swolleneye lids, with a little reddness and some dry flaky skin. No bumps or pink eye
HI. This is classically due to dermatitis , which so easily affect the skin of the eyelids as it is so soft and sensitive. You may need oral anti-allergic and steroids ( if you are not a diabetic).
Local applications of anything are better avoided as they can easily enter the eye proper and may cause more problems.
fell and eyeswollen. what to do?
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Black eye occurs commonly after trauma to the eye and surrounding soft tissues.
It occurs due to injury to the soft tissues and internal hematoma.
However, a X-ray/ CT of the head and face may be done to rule out any fracture injury to the skull and/or face bones.
You can get these imaging tests done after consulting your doctor.
Thanks and take care
