Surgical decompression of the pinched nerves (causing Sciatica) by removing bulging discs and widening of the narrowed spinal canal is the only effective treatment for joint problems. For chronic migraine, a long-term (6-12 months or even more) course of a combination of an anti-depressant, a sedative and a beta-blocker (such as atenolol) is very likely to cure migraines. Oral Sumatriptan tablet, if taken just prior to occurrence of migraine attack, is effective in aborting the attack. Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion.
