Sore Throat, Pain On Coughing, Mucus With Blood, Shortness Of Breath. Treatment?
Hi i had a realy sore chest for couple of days real hurt to cough then the pain went to my throat and coughin up mucus with blood its been three weeks now and have trouble with my voice and choughing up blood still the mucus is yellow and bit of green with blood should i go to my doctor i also have shortness of breath sometimes

After going through your history it seems You have Lung infection along with Throat, You must go to the Physician as soon as possible blood in sputum (Hemoptysis) is serious symptom and yellow green sputum indicates Pnemonia with bacterial pathogens. Are you a smoker? narrowing of airways similar to asthma may cause shortness of breath. You may need Complete blood count ,a X Ray chest and Sputum for Gram's staining and C/S Culture and Sensitivity. Doctor may need to rule out Tuberculosis also by AFB and any?? malignancy by Cytology . Once diagnosis of Pneumonia (Cosolidation) is made Proper Antibiotics,Bronchodialators, Cough Expectorant and/or Aerosol therapy wil be helpful. Take Treatment you will imorove fast Best of luck. I
