Hello and welcome to HCM,
At 37 weeks of pregnancy, it is common to experience shortness of breath.
This is because of the full term uterus which is quite bulky to push on the diaphragm.
This pushing of the diaphragm causes pressure on the lungs and hence shortness of breath.
The shortness of breath will be relieved after delivery.
Thanks and take care

Hi. Shortness of breath can be due to many reasons - like a respiratory porblem for eg. asthma can cause similar symptoms at your age. Apart from this any lung disease, heart disease, kidney disease, or muscle disease can produce shortness of breath. Sometimes it may just due to hysteria/ panic attacks due to anxiety disorders. What exactly is the cause can be known only after examination. Thank u
These may not be related. Shortness of breath may be caused by many causes like anemia, hypothyroidism, fever, heart diseases etc. It is better to get tested for it. Antacids are the mainstay for treatment of acidity.
