Pregnant, Stabbing Pain In Stomach

I m 35 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and I just had a sharp stabbing pain across my stomach about the height of my belly button. It lasted for about a minute and wouldn t go away no matter what position I was in. I ve never felt anything like it, even with my other two children, so I m not sure what to do about it. Right now my husband has our only phone so I can t call our nurse line.

If the pain is constant and increasing in intensity it might be a sign of premature labour..
But if the pain reduces in intensity it might be a sign of false labour..
Try to lie on a fixed position.
If pain persists call someone or visit your nearest hospital
