Hi doc, i want to ask what is the meaning of my chest xray result "suspicious haziness on the upper right lobe. Apicolordotic is suggested."
Apico lordotic view is basically an angle/position from where X-ray is taken. It is done to look at the top portion (apex) of lung clearly.
Doc, i was asked to take an apicolordoticview xray, is this means im sick?
No, it is only done to confirm your finding. It doesn't mean you are sick.
Bilateral apical pleural thickening
Thanks for posting the query,
The causes of bilateral pleural thickening are allergic exposure to asbestos, use of certain medications, infections, injury to the rib region, pulmonary effusions, embolisisms .
I would suggest you to get a thorough clinical and radiological examination done.
