I've been having a pain under my left rib for about 6 months now. The drs have no idea what it is after a clear chest xray and rib ultrasound. Floating rib?

Hello! Broken ribs give plenty of pain. Its because the chest can not be immobilized. Good medicines for broken ribs are Diclophenac 50 mg twice a day and Tramadol 100 mg once a day. You should also have chest X-ray about 7 days after the accident. Regards.
