Have A Pimple, Red Bump. Is It A Tick? Why Is It On Thighs?

Hi I have a pimple looking red bump with something black in it on the inside of my upper thigh, I doubt it could be razor burn as I do not shave there. As if I was 15 again, I popped it open and a small black thing came out. There was no puss, blood or any other type of liquid. I m concerned it was some type of tick or something that had buried under my skin. I have not been in any situations within the past 3 months where I could have been bit by something outdoors. As if that was not enough I poked the black thing with a undone paper clip as to kill it if it was something. Now when I did this nothing came out of the bug looking thing. What could this be? Folliculitis? I have no idea. Please let me in on what you think that black thing was inside the pimple looking bump on my inner thigh (iI am a male, thought that was important). Please help.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Do not worry.
The pimple like lesion contining black cheesy material is just small sebaceous cyst, also called epithelioid cyst.
It is a harmless and benign.
Only secondary infection can occur.
And therefore , one has to get rid off.
There is simple and easy treatment.
Excision under local anaesthesia ... And that should be done by surgeon.
You consult either dermatologist or surgeon.
He will excise the lesion under LA.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
