Is it normal to have mild redness an itching nearstitches?
Thanks for writing to us.
Its normal to have redness and slight itching around stitches. If its too severe, please meet your doctor so that the area can be examined for any irritant dermatitis and proper medicines be prescribed.
What does white skin next to recent stitches indicate?
If there is no pain at the stitchessite and fever,do not worry.
Sometimes, the area of stitches get infected.
Then, there will be oozing of pus.
Just white skin near recent stitches is normal. It may come to normal skin size in course of time.
Nothing to worry
Wish you good health
