Cause Of Long-standing Rash On Chest, Stomach, And Back?

i have had this rash for 3 years and I have seen family doctor and dermatology the rash looks like pityriasis rosea can you tell me what may be the cause and what can I do to get rid of it...I have it on my chest stomach and my back I have a hard time laying on my back it burns and gets sore to touch ..

Thanks for the query,

Pityriasis roseae is a non specific condition.
Mostly the cause is thought to be of viral in origin.

Treatment can be with anti histamines and topical steroids.

It usually last for few weeks.
Its rare to last for 3 years.
