Get complete mouth scaling and polishing done .
Maintain a good oral hygiene .

As you have mentioned you are suffering from anorexia , you may be suffering from immoderate food habits and weight loss .
sore gums and dry mouth may be caused due to reduced salivary secretion which leads to accumulation of bacterial plaque and calculus deep in the gum pockets leading to soreness, this can be a side effect of anorexia .
for anorexia and migraine you need to consult a physician and talk about your problem and the related symptoms.
For dental problems i would suggest you to get an OPG radiograpg done ,accordingly treatment can be planned for weak teeth and gums .
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query in hcm forum,
Sore gums and dry mouth occurs due to reduced salivary secretion ans decreased salivary flow.
This can increase the caries incidence.
The sensitivity may be due to the loss of bone and periodontal destruction.
A x-ray will help to reveal the condition of bone support and tissues underlying.
Salivary substitutes can be administered.
Apply desensitising paste on the effected area.
Use soft-bristled toobrush to clean your teeth.
Maintain good oral hygiene.
Get your decayed teeth restored.
Take care.
Hi there, thanks for asking. Teeth problem and gum issues are common in eating disorder as you mentioned. It could be related to acid reflux (if you have) or induced vomiting. It could also be related to lack of vital nutrition. Treatment of eating problem is easy now compared to 20 years ago. There are very good medications that can control the situation. If somebody participates in talk sessions, she would be able to manage it completely as well. Let me know if you have any question. Best wishes.
