Gas problem may be due to either, drugs (particularly aspirin and clopidogrel/Prasugrel); hyperacidity; possible bacterial (H.pylori) infection of the stomach and intestine; or, reduced blood supply to the intestine following MI.
Regular anti-acid drug and a short course of Tinidazole should help.

to rule out cardiac problems yes u need to undergo ECG test if there are any significant findings then u need to go for TMT and ECHO test to conform cardiac problems.
do I need to do cardiac echo as well.
If your basic investigations like ECG & TMT are normal, then there is no need to go for ECHO.
Your symptoms can be attributed to Gastrointestinal cause.
Symptomatic relief will be obtained with:
1. Tab Pantop D (to be taken once a day, 15 min before breakfast)
2. Syp Sucralfate 2 tsp thrice a day after meals.
3. Avoid spicy & oily foods.
