Bright Green Particles in Stool
I am a 26 year old female. For the past few days, I ve had stomach pains, and regular color stool but it had a layer of bright green feather-like particals all over it. Is this a sign of infection? Will this go away on its own?
My son is 5 month 3 days old. till 15 June 2013 his stool was normal but yesterday he didnt pass stool and today morning he passed stool and it was green color. May i know the reason for green color stool.

It may be due to bacterial or just a normal variant. It would be better to get a stool routine and microscopic examination of the stool sample.
