I have had diharriha along with mucus and blood in my stool for several months. I also have extreme pain in the upper middle left part of abdomen. GB removed.
Mucus and blood with stool can be caused by parasitical infection or bacterial infection of GIT.Most common is Bacteria E.Coli,But as you have problem for several months ,that can be less likely.Other causes can be Crohn;sdisease and Ulcerative Colitis,to rule out that you should get Colonoscopy done first and discuss with Gastroentrologist.Gall bladder has nothing to do with it.

Can I mix amoxicillin and pepto-bismol ?
Both are different medications. Pepto-bismol can impact absorption of amoxycillin. So, prefer to take amoxycillin before peptobismol. take care.
