Reasons For Stool With Green Mucus When Undergoing Pegasys Treatment
Hi I am a female, 140lbs, 37 years old undergoing Pegasys treatment for HCV (entering month 6 of 8 and showing SVR). I've recently been sick and just put on antibiotics. I've been having a heavy period over the last week (in general I've been spotting over the past 6 months during HCV tx) and noticed the past couple days that my stool is dark or light with green mucous. Should I be concerned or is it a side effect of the antivirals and antibiotics? I also take oxycodone and ibuprofen for pain/headaches and lexapro for depression.

if this situation is after using antibiotic, I would recommend to do fecal exams like :
candida
It may be a side effect of antibiotic use.
I would like to start you treatment with probiotics and anti-mycotic.
