THanks for posting. The causes of back pain are multiple and varied. Some are:poor sitting posture , back muscle strain, excess weight, disc herniation, infection, fractured vertebrae, , menstrual cramps, uterine myomas etc. They are multiple and varied. Heat or ice for lower back pain
Hello, Hot fomentation is preferred over ice. Heat causes vasodilatation and increases the blood flow to the area and helps in the reduction of pain.
