Had Patellar Dislocation. Using Knee Brace. Taking Enzomac. Have Swelling. MRI Report Reveals Post-traumatic Bone Contusion. Suggest

Respected Sir,
I had patellar dislocation while i was lying on the bed downside and a friend came and laid over my thigh and suddenly my left leg patella dislocated with knee effusion. The incident happened on 23rd march 2013. On 28th March doctor removed the 30 ml blood by syringe and it came back after some days. I am using knee brace since 28th March. I am consuming Enzomac tablet twice a day since 5th April(One month ago). Two weeks ago i.e from 18th April i was told to perform knee flexion and
static quadriceps contraction. I was also suggested to try to put my leg gently on ground with help of crutches and have some walk(but not putting whole weight on leg). So i started the same on 1st May 2013 and on that night i noticed some increased swelling. So i discontinued all exercises but yesterday night i felt that the swelling increased further. Then i wore my knee brace tightly and slept with elevated leg on pillow. Now, today morning swelling was like a day before.
So, my main question is that why swelling seems increasing at night and reduced at morning and is there any further precaution which i should take? Whether i should do exercise or not?

MRI report Impression on 1st April:-
MR Images reveal post-traumatic bone contusion involving lateral femoral condyle with moderate synovial effusion, sprain injury of posterior cruciate ligament. Lateral deviation of patella.

Thanking you,
Sincerely yours
