What Causes Blood Clots In Poop Of Kid?

My 4 year old daughter just pooped and had what appear to be some blood clots in/around her stool. They are bright red and there was a bit of blood on the toilet paper when she wiped. Her stool is formed, but loose. She says she isn't in any pain and she has not had anything red to eat in the past couple of days.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Painless bleeding in children could be due to many possibilities -
1. Haemorrhoids
2. Rectal or colonic polyp
3. Colitis but usually fever will be there
4. Anal fissure but usually pain will be there
5. Intusseception etc.
I suggest you see your paediatrician immediately.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
