What Is The Cause Of Rib Cage Sensitivity?

Hi, I have suffered from a sense of lower right front ribcage sensitivity for over 5 years (sensitive to touch). A year ago I had a chest xray and abdominal ultrasound which were normal. I also have pain in my back in my lower rib area. It disturbs my sleep/wakes me up, and when I wake in the morning it is still there - it never goes away. When the doona touches it, or my clothes lightly touch it, its worse. It is not a pain, more a feeling that there is something under there... It is worse on right side and centre, but also more mildly on the left side. Any ideas what this could be from? I also had normal gastroscopy. Thankd in advance

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be the neuralgia of the cutaneous nerves, from the vertebrae of T10, to L2.as those nerves supply that area. The reason may be the spondylosis, or deficiency of iron, B complex, etc.
I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.
You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms nuerotropic injections for 10 consecutive days and then periodically. supplement of calcium, vitamin D, and pain killers when needed.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
