I find cefixime 200mg, twice a day, for 5 days, paracetamol 650mg, twice a day; along with some non-codeine cough syrup,2 spoons, 3 tiems a day, with steam inhalation 3-4 times and warm saline gargals will make you good. if you want, may go for injectable cephalosporin for one day & then oral tablets, for quick relief. It is usual in bad cough that there is simulataneous pain I chest and abdomen.
