sharp stabbing left lower side/back pain when I cough. sometimes the pain will linger after I cough.
There are Plenty of causes. Can be many things in that area including a muscle spasm, pinched nerve or even a kidney stone or urinary tract issue. Depending on what brought it on should help answer that. Trying an anti inflammatory and some heat may help if its muscular related. If it persists or gets worse then go and get evaluated like USG and CT.
