Is An Oval/oblong Pill A Generic Lipitor?
I take 40 mg of generic Lipitor - this time when I picked up my prescription the pill is oval and on one side it has RDY and the other side 123 - the prescriptions I ve had before was a smaller almost round pill. Is this oval/oblong pill the generic Lipitor?

Yes, the pill inscribed with RDY on one side and 123 on the other side is a generic version of atorvastatin 40 mg and is manufactured by Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited, India. Since other manufacturers also produce generic atorvastatin, it is possible you previous pills, which were different in shape and size, were made by another manufacturer.
