It has montelukast and cetrizine. Montelukast is a mast cell stabilizer and is prescribed in asthma. Cetrizine is anti-allergic. For cold only Tb cetrizine is enough. Side effect are fever, rash, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, insomnia, cramps

However, you have to some primiary diseases with which hiccups are associated as a symptom. In that case the primary problem has to be treated also.
