Blood pressure in a 21 year old male
I took my blood pressure siting down with my families blood pressure wrist cuff and the first time it was 124/78 pulse 71 and second time it was 126/70 with a pulse of 62. Is this normal for a 21 year old athletic male 6 3 165 pounds.
my dad is diabetic patient. he feels pain and heat in his lower part of feet. his age is 53 years old with 63 kg weight. any suggeation please.
This is diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This is a complication of prolonged hyperglycemia were there is a damage to the nerves. It needs tight control of blood sugar and insulin may help in reducing the inflammation of the nerves. Drugs like Gabapentin may help reduce the pain. In this condition footwear also needs to be changed to MCR or MCP material to reduce friction and injury.
