I hear a can of soda has like 12 teaspoons of sugar....is that true? How many grams of sugar is our body allowed per day ?

yes soda is like sugar water with lot of empty calories which will not help the human body at all. Our human body needs 40gms of sugar ( natural and added). One should take not more than 8tsp to 10 of added sugar per day. Hope it helps.
