What Is The Prognosis For Lung Cancer?

Hi my husband has none small cell lung cancer. All treatments have been stopped and he is now on hospice. He has just started vomiting blood and also coughs up a lot of mucusixed with blood. Also. Has lost about 60 pounds. Can I tell me what I can expect time wise and his prognosis. Thank yoi

The prognosis of stage 4 lung cancer is very bad.
The 5 year survival rate is only 1%.
The intent of treatment is palliation and improving quality of life and not cure at this stage
