Suggest Treatment For Lung Cancer

My father is suffering from Lung cancer (Non small cell lung cancer)-adenocarcinoma. On 3 jan pleural effusion was done and 800ml fluid was tapped, but the condition was not improved then on 16th Jan my father was still having breathlessness and having fever everyday...then on 18th Jan Pleural effusion was done with tube insertion and on that as well 1500Ml of fluid with more concentration of flood was tapped....after 4 days CTscan was performed and Biopsy results showed that it is a cancer. Chemotherapy started on 1st Feb and still he is having fever. I want your help to understand if we should show to any doctors in US as I work in US but right now I am with my father in India (Vadodara Gujarat) Immediate help is appreciated. Your father is probably suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Since it is non small cell lung cancer subtype adenocarcinoma
I would suggest you do pleural fluid cytology test
i will suggest u do EGFR and ALK mutation test in biopsy sample.
If mutation is positive then oral chemotherapy erlotinib and crizotinib will work to control size of tumour.
Side effects of oral chemo tablets are rash and diarrhea.
These oral chemo tablets work even when condition of patient is poor and he cannot tolerate injectable chemotherapy.
