Hi, Most colds are caused by viruses and treatment is aimed at relieving the symptoms. I suggest you take regular paracetamol and ibuprofen, drink plenty of water. Over the counter decongestants will help a blocked nose. Taking zinc syrup, tablets or lozenges may be of help. Get plenty of rest. Steam inhalations with menthol or camphor, salt water gargles, menthol sweets are a few more suggestions
