Hi, If your temperature is below 102°, no treatment is necessary beside waiting for the fever to pass. Take an over-the-counter medicine such as ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol). Taking a lukewarm shower or bath. Putting an damp cloth on your forehead. Applying a damp cloth to legs, feet and neck. Drink lots of water in order to stay properly hydrated.
For cold,you need an antihistamine tablet like Cetrizine.I prefer this drug to my patients with similar complaints.
To prevent secondary bacterial infection,i prescribe antibiotic like Azithromycin to my patients.If fever is present,paracetamol should be added
