What Is The Remedy For Shoulder Pain And Neck Pain?

Hi, About 3 months ago I hurt my lower back. I babied it and only have stiffness occasionally of a morning. About a week ago the back of my left shoulder, neck area started to bother me. Just discomfort. Now it has moved into my left upper arm and it's more pain than discomfort. Like as I am typing this it hurts. If I put my arm over my head it doesn't bother me. It's when it is down by my side or using my hands in a low position.

Hi.
These pains are due to protective spasms of the muscle which will persist if you do not give rest to them. This is true for any musculo-skeletal organs.
So the first part of the management is to give rest to the part. You can hang you folded arm by the neck on the opposite side in a sling by the chest. Do not use it. The obligations of life like work and all will lead to the chronic, recurrent problem.
You can take some medicines for pain and a local rubrafacient creams / liniments / ointments for soothing the pain. Anxiety is directly related to the myo-spasms. So a relaxed life is of a great help.
