Joint Pain, Nausea For Months. History Of Lyme Disease. Suggestions?

My son, 36 years old, has been suffering with strange joint pain, extreme fatigue, morning nausea for several months. Been to several doctors with no answer. Was diagnosed with lyme disease 7 years ago. Infectious disease doctor said he doesn't have lyme disease and never did. been to a rheumatolgist with no help. The pain is strange in that it is more in the tissue above the joint not in the joint itself. Becomes swollen and red. Moves to different areas of the body-one day his hips will be terribly painful, then the next his knees, then ankles, wrists, etc. Just recently started the morning nausea - seems to pass after mid-day. Any suggestions?

Hi, it appears that the nausea could be due to pain medication he is using, so he will have nausea when the stomach is empty.
The pains you are describing might be due to fibromyalgia, an aut imune disease. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and one injection every week. and anti inflamatories like acyclophenac sodium 200 SR. daily one. Thank you.
