Cannot feel the operated part post septoplasty, accidental removal of membrane? Also, evidence of nasalpolyp. what to do?
Thank you for your query.
1.I assume that you have no sensation on the operated area post septoplasty. This is common in the healing stage. Depends on when the septoplasty was done.
2.The second possibility is a septal perforation. A nasalpolyp will also require a plain Sinus CT.
3.Follow up with the Sinus CT images directly at bit.ly/Dr-Sumit-Bhatti for an accurate assessment.
