I have been having pain in my left ovary every month. I recently had an ultrasound. It showed that i have a few small follicles with some swollen areas. Can you explain to me what this mean. My past female medical hx is i had my right tube & ovary removed due to an egg size benign tumor. Then I had a hysterectomy due to they thought was a fibroid then found out it was immature premalignant tissue in my uterus. I am getting very frustrated because I am not getting anywhere with any doctors. They say it wouldn't cause pain. Well it is the only thing left i have down there.
