Back Injury

Hi my 15 year old fell down three stairs and onto some bricks on her back two nights ago. She is now complaining of increasing pain (quite severe), nurofen and panadol aren't helping. It hurts more to move or walk. I can see a graze where she fell but no bruising. But the area above and below (fairly directly on spine) is incredibly tender to touch. It appears swollen but it is hard to tell on a back! Should I take her to emergency now or wait for a GP in morning? Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
You should go to ER,as there is possibility of having some damage to vertebral column or fracture of vertebra causing severe pain while walking.
Give complete rest in lying down position.
Give some analgesic for time being.
Ok and bye.
