Severe Breast Pain While Breast Feeding
Hello Doctor , I am a new mother.Gave birth to a baby boy on 29th Nov 2010. I have been giving Breast feeding to my baby. But now from last 1 week I am getting severe pain in my breast. I have already visited one Gynecologist and she said its normal. and the reason for this pain is due to the excess of milk which is clotted. Could you please advice me?

For breast pain due to excessive milk production, you need to express your milk more often to prevent it from clotting even if you have to waste it. Hot fomentation will also help to relieve the pain.
