HI, Thanks for using HCM
In my opinion sinusitis often requires a combination of glucocorticoids, antibiotics, and nasal saline irrigation. Even with the medications, relief is minimal until milk, cheese, ice cream, and yogurt are first eliminated from the diet. other treatmens include Peppermint or eucalyptus oil in a humidifier , Irrigating with a Neti Pot,Grapefruit seed extract spray and stem.
Hi im Experiencing sharp pain in my head behind my eyesocket whenever I swallow, What could that be?
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain behind eye socket while swallowing can be due to muscular pain.
However, you can undergo an eye examination to rule out any ocular problem.
Sinus infection is another possibility for pain behind the eye socket.
A X-ray of the sinuses can also be done to rule out infection of the sinus (especially ethmoidsinus).
You need to consult an ENT and eye specialist.
What does sinus mean?
Hi. thanks for writing in to HCM
Sinus means a cavity or space that is connected to the surface with a tract (e.g paranasal sinuses like frontal sinus, maxillary sinus).
Infection of the sinus or sinus tract is called sinusitis.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
