What does "Lymph nodes measured in the left axilla are subcentimeter" mean?
Thanks for contacting HCM. Lymph nodes in the axillary is a common finding and can be seen after having a viral or bacterial illness. The Lymph node is a center where lymph cells are manufactured to fight infection. I recommend that you see you doctor for better evaluation as there can be other causes including infection that should be investigated.

My armpits hurt a week before my period%2C im thinking it could be swollen lymph nodes. Is that normal for your lymph nodes to swell up before a period%3F
Hi ! There is water retention upto some extent in the body during periods, and the tissue in the axilla may also swell. Not very infrequently there could be some accessory breast tissue in the axilla which gets affected by the hormonal changes during periods like a normal breast tissue, and may give rise to some discomfort. If it persists, then show to your family physician for a check up. Thanks
