Thanks for writing to us.
In my opinion you should consult a gastroenterologist and get your ultrasonography and endoscopy test done to rule out the severity of hiatus hernia and GERD.
You can take antacid and pain killers which are not causing acidity for your gas pain after consulting with doctor.
I have shortness of breath, and chest pains that comes and goes. What to do?
Thank you for your question to HCM.
Shortness of breath and chest pain results from lung or heart diseases. If this is happening frequently it is strongly advisable to consult a physician for examination, chest Xray and EKG. It would be helpful to know if there is any particular event that brings these symptoms on or it happens at rest. Chest pain at the age of 28 is concerning.
