Is The Meat Which Was Smoked At 220 F Had A Piece Of Plastic Wrap On It Which Is Melted. Is It Safe To Consume?

Hi. I smoked some chicken breasts and a beef brisket today. Apparently there was about a foot square piece of plastic wrap that I had wrapped the beef with that was lying melted on one of the chicken breasts, having fallen from the bottom of the beef brisket. The plastic sheet was kind of melted, but was still in one piece. The smoking temperature was about 220F.

Is the meat safe to consume.

Do not eat such a meat if plastic sheet was melted. It may cause harm to your body when consumed. Next time be careful while preparing meat.
