NCCT for maxillary sinusitis diagnosis.
I had fever and facial pain for 3 months and got resolved with antibiotics. the facial pain is not going.i was asked to undergo CT scan of nose and face, i heard it is radiation of X-ray type. will it be fine if i undergo the NCCT, iam worried about the radiation. waiting for the reply

Complete the relevant antibiotic course.
Steam inhalation regularly.
If intractable Maxillary sinusitis- Antral puncture & Wash may relieve the problem.
Some times frontal sinuses are opened to wash the pus.
Avoid the things which cause soar throat &RTI,
Avoid cold exposure.
Allergic tendencies to be treated.

Sinus means a cavity or space that is connected to the surface with a tract (e.g paranasal sinuses like frontal sinus, maxillary sinus).
Infection of the sinus or sinus tract is called sinusitis.
