Hi , Benign hypertrophy of prostate occurs in old age and manage conservatively when prostrate volume is small and patient less symptomatic also before surgery to decrease size of prostate . In your case its in initial stage and requires management through alpha2blocker with 5 alpha reductase inhibitor . If remains symptomatic then the treatment would be surgical reactions /enucleation of prostate preferably through laser. But ultimate treatment would be surgical.Meet urologist for further management
