Numbness can be due to Vit. B12 deficiency; nerves disorders; chill blains; as a diabetic complication and several other conditions.

From the last 3 mornings ive been woken by my left foot being numb, the numbmess dont last long only like 1 min. My left little toe is now hurting!
The numbness could be due to temporary deficiency of circulation which could be due to faulty position of sleeping which could have lead to compression of the blood vessel supplying the blood to the lower limb.
