I have hip pain after my gallbladder surgery, is this normal?
Hi, thank you for your question.
No it is not normal to have hip pain after gallbladder surgery, I will advise you to investigate it especially if you feeling unwell or the pain severe and preventing you from moblising full weight bearing.
If it is an ache only then try simple analgesia for couple of days.
Please do not hesitate in asking me further question if you still concern.
Hi, It could be due to arthritic changes in hip. it is too early to say that you are suffering from this condition, without a proper clinical examination by an orthopaedician. Visit your doctor, get yourself examined. Your doctor will advice you to go for a xray.
