What Is The Cause Of Ear Pain?

I have been having what I thought was an ear ache for about a month, I went to the Ear,Nose and Throat doctor this am and was told it was not problems with my ear, but, I have TMT....Looking the def. up online, it pertains to the heart, but, he said, mine came from arthritis of the right jaw, now I am confused, can you shed some light on my problem for peace of mind thank you

I have gone through your query, and it suggests that you may be suffering from the referred otalgia and this may be due to the TMJ i.e. temporomandibular joint disorder.

To reach the near diagnosis you may go for the X ray of TM joint or CT scan of the TM joint.
