Question: i have a friend who just shot XXXXXXX up yesterday and she has had tingling numb feeling in her fingertips, feet are numb and have a slight purple shade to them. Her knees are hurting her as well and she can not fall asleep. Im worried and would like to help her find the answer and solution to her problem.

Brief Answer: Its due to constriction of blood vessels Detailed Answer: Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine) is an empathogenic drug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine classes of drugs. It stimulates sympathetic system. This causes vasoconstriction( constriction of blood vessel in the hands and limbs), this slows the blood in the extremities like hands and feet , the slow flow of blood leads to increased extraction of Oxygen from blood causing Oxygen level in blood to be less. This causes tingling sensation and bluish discolouration of the extremities. This is usually self limiting if there is no further exposure of body to drug. Keeping the body covered with woollen clothes, along with ensuring good intake of water and food.
