Post ACL surgery a year back, I can feel a protruded bone. Is it Tibia Tuberocity? How can it be fixed? Feels like a bone is out. Kindly suggest.
Tibial tuberosity is not a seperate bone, its a part of tibia and is not likely to get displaced as in your condition. But based on your statement the protuberance may be du e to patella, another bone present in the middle of the knee joint. Patella dislocation is one of rare complication of acl reconstrictive surgery. We might have to take an xray and possibly an MRI to confirm

My husband recently slipped in the shower and hit his lower leg. He has a palpable indentation on the tibia and has swelling, bruising, and pain. Fx??
It can be a fracture, but i can not confirmed. I would suggest you to get x ray of the foot and confirm it. Till you apply ice and take rest. If pain is much then he should take Brufen tablet for pain relief.

Brothers knee seems to be protruding. It looks as if the bottom half of his leg has been moved backwards! It is also extreamly hyperextended! Any ideas?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic , The reason for hyperextension ( genu recurvatum ) most probably is injury to the growth plate ( anterior portion ) which can happen either due to trauma or also during surgery wherein the posterior part of the growth plate continues to grow and causes genu recurvatum. The other possible reason for this appearance is ACL tear -tibia slides anteriorly.
