bad smell from vagina for the past couple months after sex I have the mirena got it in January after giving birth no discharge or bleeding since mirena put in
Thanks for the query
It looks like you are suffering from vaginitis which is nothing but bacterial infection of the vagina, mirena might have caused the infection. I strongly advice you to meet the gynaecologist and get yourself treated with antibiotics after removing a swab for culture. Please do not ignore the issue
Although sometimes bleeding may occur from vagina especially after rough sex but to have this bleeding regularly after sex denotes some vaginal or cervical or uterus problem and requires a clinical examination and relevant investigations by a gynecologist.
I hope it helps.
How long do i need to wear a pad for after giving birth? Im no longer bleeding.
Welcome to health care magic forum.
Usually immediately after giving birth you should wear pad.
If you had undergone normal delivery, bleeding will be heavy.
In such cases, usually bleeding lasts for 2-3 weeks.
In cases of c-section,bleeding usually will be minimal.
It differs in each individual.
Consult with your gynecologist for further reference.
